WCC @ KUSINA MASTER GMA 7

The World Citi Colleges were invited by one of the biggest network of the country KAPUSO GMA 7 to be there guest audience in their highly rated cooking show with Chef Boy Logro.

The Taping was scheduled last September 20, 2012 at GMA 7 Studio 6 from 9:00am to 5:00pm but due to some circumstances the taping schedule was re schedule in the afternoon. While waiting for the start of the taping, Chef Boy Logro visited us on the set just to know our condition, and taking some time in taking pictures with the students and faculty of WCC. The guest artist that day was the award winning actress/singer Ms. Agot Isidro and teen star Bea Binene and Charice Solomon.

While waiting for the start of the taping the sudents take some time to take pictures with the other chef's in the area who are assisting Chef Logro with the preparation of the food to be cook for the one week episode that were going to tape. We finished the taping around 8 in the evening with good food in our stomach, good memories in our mind.

ZOOBIC SAFARI

With Allied Health WCC

September 13, 2012 is the schedule of all allied health tour in Subic at Zoobic Zafari. The safari is located at Subic Zambales, Philippines a 3 hour drive from  metro manila.It has 25 hectare amusement park presenting a once in lifetime experience for the students or World Citi Colleges. The safari is composed of Tiger Safari were you can experience a close encounter with the big cats the tigers by feeding them a chicken, well the ride is protected by grills so people won't be harmed by the tigers. Zoobic Park were a  vast of different animals can be seen and can interact with them because some of the animals like the birds are trained to interact with the people. The savannah were you can see some of the animals like potbelly pigs which are just roaming around the vicinity of the savannah and ostrich. The Serpentarium is walk  in type of snake museum which most of the snakes are alive caged in glass type aquarium, in this area you can see different types of snake from phython to albino snakes. 

The Croco Loco area is were you can feed the crocodiles with a piece of chicken hang in a rod, you can see how fast and strong their reflexes in catching their victims for food. They are about 30 crocodile in the area. 

The Safari was our last destination during our tour in Subic, first we went to Our Lady of Lourdes International Hospital in Olangapo. This is a tertiary hospital with a total of morethan 100 bed capacity and land are of 2.1 hectares to accommodate local and foreign patients. The students of WCC were accommodated by the chief nurse of the hospital then we went to the audio visual room for the orientation of the amenities and services of the hospital.
